Amethyst has been worn by bishops and royalty for centuries - the stone of spiritual wisdom, humility, and clarity of mind. Its purple has long been the colour of penitence, of Advent, of the contemplative life. Six large claw-set stones arranged in the shape of a cross - no silver visible on the face, just stones and light. The cross is built entirely from colour, each stone catching the light from a different angle, the claw settings holding them like tiny crowns. A simple construction and a striking result: faith worn in pure colour, handcrafted in our Jerusalem workshop in sterling silver 925.

Take a ring that fits the intended finger well and measure the inside diameter in millimeters. Match that number to the chart below.
Option 2: The string or paper strip method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length with a ruler in millimeters. Match that number to the circumference column below.
Option 3: Not sure, or buying as a gift?
The average US ring size is 7 for women and 10 for men. If you're buying a surprise gift and can't get an exact measurement, this is a safe place to start — and if it needs adjusting later, resizing is simple.
A few tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure in the evening, when fingers are at their largest
- Avoid measuring right after being out in the cold, or after a workout — fingers shrink in cold weather and swell in heat
- If you're between two sizes, size up rather than down
- Wider bands fit more snugly than thin ones, so consider going up half a size for a wide band
