Of all the symbols Marina uses across its ring collection - saints, monograms, medals - the plain cross remains the oldest and simplest, predating all of them as the first thing Christians agreed to wear. Here it's cast in gold, raised on a brushed gold cushion face bordered by a Greek key pattern in oxidized silver - the same construction as Marina's other signet rings, built around that one symbol rather than a saint or monogram. "Pray for us" is engraved inside, with a small gold cross emblem set into the shank.

Caring for Your Marina Jewelry
Your piece is handcrafted from 925 sterling silver. With a little care, it will keep its shine for generations.
- Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place, ideally in the pouch or box it arrived in, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Put jewelry on last, after applying perfume, lotion, or hairspray, and take it off first when you get home.
- Clean with a soft, dry polishing cloth. Avoid paper towels or abrasive materials.
- If your piece has an oxidized (antiqued/dark) finish, do not polish those areas — the darkened detail is intentional and polishing will remove it. Gently wipe with a dry cloth only.
- If your piece includes gemstones, enamel, or pearls, do not submerge it in water or cleaning solution. Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, exercising, or doing household chores.

Option 2: The string or paper strip method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length with a ruler in millimeters. Match that number to the circumference column below.
Option 3: Not sure, or buying as a gift?
The average US ring size is 7 for women and 10 for men. If you're buying a surprise gift and can't get an exact measurement, this is a safe place to start — and if it needs adjusting later, resizing is simple.
A few tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure in the evening, when fingers are at their largest
- Avoid measuring right after being out in the cold, or after a workout — fingers shrink in cold weather and swell in heat
- If you're between two sizes, size up rather than down
