The Miraculous Medal- one of the most widely worn Catholic sacramentals in the world, given to Saint Catherine Labouré by Our Lady in 1830 with the instruction to have it struck and worn. Mary stands on the globe, rays of grace streaming from her hands, the twelve stars of her crown above her. The blue enamel ground is the colour that has represented her in Christian art for a thousand years- the colour of heaven, of the sky, of everything pure and true. The silver figure in relief against the blue is precise and recognisable to every Catholic who has ever held or worn this medal. Made in our Jerusalem workshop not far from Nazareth, where Mary's story began. Worn as a prayer, carried as a promise.

Take a ring that fits the intended finger well and measure the inside diameter in millimeters. Match that number to the chart below.
Option 2: The string or paper strip method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length with a ruler in millimeters. Match that number to the circumference column below.
Option 3: Not sure, or buying as a gift?
The average US ring size is 7 for women and 10 for men. If you're buying a surprise gift and can't get an exact measurement, this is a safe place to start — and if it needs adjusting later, resizing is simple.
A few tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure in the evening, when fingers are at their largest
- Avoid measuring right after being out in the cold, or after a workout — fingers shrink in cold weather and swell in heat
- If you're between two sizes, size up rather than down
- Wider bands fit more snugly than thin ones, so consider going up half a size for a wide band
