The Miraculous Medal in a deeply oxidized, antique finish- the silver darkened to the colour of old devotional objects, the figure of Mary emerging from the dark ground in soft relief. This is how medals have looked after a generation of being worn: softened by time, darkened by devotion, the surface carrying the sense that this piece has a history even when it is new. Worn close at the collarbone, small and present. For the buyer who wants their faith jewellery to look like it has always been part of their life- not shining and new, but worn and meant. Handcrafted in our Jerusalem workshop in sterling silver 925 on a fine box chain.

Option 1: Measure a ring you already own
Take a ring that fits the intended finger well and measure the inside diameter in millimeters. Match that number to the chart below.
Option 2: The string or paper strip method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length with a ruler in millimeters. Match that number to the circumference column below.
Option 3: Not sure, or buying as a gift?
The average US ring size is 7 for women and 10 for men. If you're buying a surprise gift and can't get an exact measurement, this is a safe place to start — and if it needs adjusting later, resizing is simple.
A few tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure in the evening, when fingers are at their largest
- Avoid measuring right after being out in the cold, or after a workout — fingers shrink in cold weather and swell in heat
- If you're between two sizes, size up rather than down
- Wider bands fit more snugly than thin ones, so consider going up half a size for a wide band
