The Miraculous Medal in two-tone- the figure of Mary in warm gold relief inside a silver oval frame with decorative rope-twist border. The gold figure stands forward from the silver surround, the way Mary herself stands forward in the history of the Church: present, interceding, central. The rope-twist border adds texture and craft to the frame, elevating this from a devotional medal to a piece of considered jewellery. Worn close at the collarbone, it sits with quiet warmth. Handcrafted in our Jerusalem workshop in sterling silver with gold plating. All sterling silver, the rope-twist border giving texture and depth to a piece that might otherwise read as simply plain.

Option 1: Measure a ring you already own
Take a ring that fits the intended finger well and measure the inside diameter in millimeters. Match that number to the chart below.
Option 2: The string or paper strip method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length with a ruler in millimeters. Match that number to the circumference column below.
Option 3: Not sure, or buying as a gift?
The average US ring size is 7 for women and 10 for men. If you're buying a surprise gift and can't get an exact measurement, this is a safe place to start — and if it needs adjusting later, resizing is simple.
A few tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure in the evening, when fingers are at their largest
- Avoid measuring right after being out in the cold, or after a workout — fingers shrink in cold weather and swell in heat
- If you're between two sizes, size up rather than down
- Wider bands fit more snugly than thin ones, so consider going up half a size for a wide band
