The obverse of the Saint Benedict Medal- Saint Benedict himself, standing in gold relief, holding the Rule in one hand and the cross in the other. This is the face of the medal that has been carried by monks, missionaries, and the faithful since the eleventh century: not the prayer on the reverse, but the man who inspired it. The gold-plated figure of the Patriarch of Western Monasticism stands against a silver ground, the blue enamel border carrying the Latin inscription of the medal. At nearly 2.8 cm, this is a substantial medallion- worn on a gold chain, it is the most considered piece in the collection, made for someone who knows exactly what it means and has chosen it with full intention. Handcrafted in our Jerusalem workshop in sterling silver with gold plating.

How to Find Your Ring Size
Option 1: Measure a ring you already own
Take a ring that fits the intended finger well and measure the inside diameter in millimeters. Match that number to the chart below.
Option 2: The string or paper strip method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length with a ruler in millimeters. Match that number to the circumference column below.
Option 3: Not sure, or buying as a gift?
The average US ring size is 7 for women and 10 for men. If you're buying a surprise gift and can't get an exact measurement, this is a safe place to start — and if it needs adjusting later, resizing is simple.
A few tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure in the evening, when fingers are at their largest
- Avoid measuring right after being out in the cold, or after a workout — fingers shrink in cold weather and swell in heat
- If you're between two sizes, size up rather than down
- Wider bands fit more snugly than thin ones, so consider going up half a size for a wide band
