The Saint Benedict Medal is one of the oldest and most widely worn sacramentals in the Catholic Church- carried by soldiers, pilgrims, and the faithful since the eleventh century as protection against evil and a declaration of Benedictine spirituality. The full medal design is here: a red enamel cross at the centre bearing the letters of the Benedictine exorcism prayer; a blue enamel border carrying the inscription Eius in obitu nostro praesentia muniamur- "May we be strengthened by his presence in the hour of our death." The reverse carries the full Vade retro Satana text. Every letter intentional, every element centuries old. Made in our Jerusalem workshop in sterling silver 925 with blue and red enamel.

How to Find Your Ring Size
Option 1: Measure a ring you already own
Take a ring that fits the intended finger well and measure the inside diameter in millimeters. Match that number to the chart below.
Option 2: The string or paper strip method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length with a ruler in millimeters. Match that number to the circumference column below.
Option 3: Not sure, or buying as a gift?
The average US ring size is 7 for women and 10 for men. If you're buying a surprise gift and can't get an exact measurement, this is a safe place to start — and if it needs adjusting later, resizing is simple.
A few tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure in the evening, when fingers are at their largest
- Avoid measuring right after being out in the cold, or after a workout — fingers shrink in cold weather and swell in heat
- If you're between two sizes, size up rather than down
- Wider bands fit more snugly than thin ones, so consider going up half a size for a wide band
